Only a print ad can do this



The latest advertisement campaign “DAS KANN NUR EIN INSERAT” (“Only an ad can do this”) of Schweizer Presse, coordinator of the Swiss news organizations, is one of the biggest and probably most innovative print campaigns in Switzerland in 2010.

Launched under the heading “Print ‘n’ Mobile”, it bridges the gap between offline and online and invites consumers to use the cameras of their smartphones or their web cam to interact and participate in an attractive sweepstake (you can win coupons worth 130’000 Swiss francs from a large supermarket chain!).

The campaign aims to surprise and arouse curiosity of readers and encourages the use of different technologies as QR Codes, augmented reality through the web cam, and kooaba’s image recognition.
